Russia is thankful to UAE for hosting talks with Ukraine, US
Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s presidential envoy for international economic and investment cooperation, conveyed the message during a meeting with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Dmitriev passed along greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin and thanked the UAE for facilitating the talks, which are part of ongoing efforts to promote dialogue and seek diplomatic solutions to the Ukraine crisis.
The trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the U.S. concluded on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. Both Kyiv and Washington described the discussions positively and indicated that talks will resume next week.
The meeting also explored avenues for cooperation between the UAE and Russia, highlighting opportunities to strengthen ties across economic, investment, and development sectors.
