Russian Strikes Kill at Least Twelve in Ukraine
In Dnipro, residential areas were hit by missiles and drones, resulting in at least eight deaths and 36 injuries, as stated by reports citing regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha.
In a separate update, Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said four people were killed and 63 others injured in the capital. Authorities had earlier urged residents to seek shelter as the attacks unfolded.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko also reported widespread power outages across multiple districts following the strikes.
In Kharkiv, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said 14 people were injured, including a child.
During the attacks, Poland’s Air Force announced on the US social media platform X that it had deployed aircraft to secure Polish airspace as a precautionary measure.
